Terms of sale

These terms apply to all enquiries and orders placed through amoretta.com. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Last updated 8 November 2026.

How an order is formed

This site is a catalogue, not a checkout. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract and does not take payment. We reply with availability, the sales tax for your state, and a delivery estimate; if you accept, we send a secure payment link. A contract is formed when payment clears, and we confirm it by email.

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. We may correct a pricing error before payment is taken; if you have already paid, we will refund the difference or cancel and refund in full, at your choice.

Delivery

Orders placed before 1 pm Eastern on a business day are dispatched the same day. Standard delivery is three to five business days; expedited is two. These are estimates rather than guarantees, and where a delay exceeds five business days beyond the estimate we will tell you and offer a cancellation with a full refund.

If a dispatch date changes after you order — a stock fault, a carrier failure — we will email you within two business days with a revised date and the choice to wait or cancel with a full refund, including any shipping paid. You do not need to chase us for that notice; under the US mail-order rule the notice is our obligation, not your project.

Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost in transit, we will replace it or refund it; we do not ask you to pursue the carrier.

Returns and cancellation

You may return an unopened item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. The return label is prepaid. We do not require a reason, and we do not charge a restocking fee.

Opened items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. The exception is a manufacturing fault: in that case we replace the item, and we ask for a photograph rather than the item itself. This does not limit any statutory rights you may have.

If you cancel before dispatch, we refund in full. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within five business days of the returned item arriving or the cancellation being confirmed.

Product descriptions and claims

We describe materials specifically and avoid claims we cannot support. Nothing in this catalogue is a medical device, and nothing is described as therapeutic or clinically proven. Colour and texture may vary slightly between production batches; dimensions are nominal and may vary by up to 3 mm.

Age restriction

This catalogue is for adults only. We do not sell to anyone under 18, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we may ask for age confirmation before dispatch. Orders placed in breach of this term will be cancelled and refunded.

Liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from misuse of a product contrary to its care instructions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms; the version that applies to your order is the one published when payment clears. If a change is material, we will note it at the top of this page with the date.
