Aurelia answers a specific request we heard often after Velvet Hour launched: the same material quality in a narrower form. The body tapers from a rounded base to a fine tip, and the rose-gold ring is not decoration — it marks the boundary between the two motor zones, so you can feel where the vibration changes character.
At 28 mm across its widest point it is the piece that travels most easily, and the travel case takes it without the sleeve. Five intensities, continuous control, and a motor chosen for its behaviour at the low end: the first setting is a true slow pulse, not a coarse stutter.
Why this piece exists
Aurelia was the piece our earliest customers asked for before we had a name for it: 'Velvet Hour, but narrower'. The taper took nine attempts because a narrow body amplifies every flaw in a silicone pour — a bubble that would be invisible in Velvet Hour's broad body sits right at the surface at 28 mm. The production run runs at a 4% rejection rate, which we absorb rather than ship.
The rose-gold ring is machined from solid stock and pressed onto the body cold, so there is no glue line to fail. It marks the boundary between the two motor zones — below the ring the vibration is low and broad, above it the tip carries a sharper secondary note. Once you find the line with a fingertip, you stop thinking about the intensity count entirely.

Use and care
Everything we know about keeping it.
Before the first use
Charge fully — the ring warms slightly during charging, which is normal. Wash with warm water and mild unscented soap, dry with a lint-free cloth. The bead-blasted finish hides fingerprints better than a polish, but it holds dust and benefits from a rinse rather than a wipe.
Cleaning
Silicone-safe cleanser or mild soap and water. Avoid alcohol-based wipes, which dry the surface. The ring seam is sealed but should be dried before charging.
Storage
The narrow shape rolls; use the cotton sleeve or lay it flat. Keep it away from other silicone items for long periods — prolonged contact can bond surfaces.
Long-term
The bead-blasted finish is the part to protect: it hides fingerprints but holds dust, so a rinse beats a wipe. The PVD ring is harder than the silicone around it and will not scratch in normal use, but it will gall if you store the piece in contact with another metal object. Keep the sleeve between them and expect the battery, not the body, to be the first thing to age — five hundred cycles, roughly three years of weekends.
Material safety. Platinum-cured silicone, phthalate-free, non-porous. Clean with warm water and mild unscented soap or a silicone-safe cleanser; avoid alcohol and silicone-based lubricants, which dull a matte finish and can leave a film. Full detail in the materials guide.
