The Quiet Case is the piece that makes the rest of the catalogue practical. Hard shell, matte black, rounded corners, a three-dial combination lock that is enough to stop a casual look and honest enough not to pretend to be more. Inside there is a single divider and a soft lining, so two objects do not knock together in a bag.
The external dimensions are deliberately under carry-on limits, and the shell has no logo, no product silhouette, and no wording other than a small debossed mark on the base. It looks like a camera case, which is the point.
Why this piece exists
The Quiet Case was designed backwards from an airport. Hard shell, because soft pouches let two objects knock; matte polycarbonate, because gloss reads as gadget; and a three-dial lock, because a zip tells everyone there is something worth hiding while a dial tells them nothing. The dimensions were fixed before anything else: it had to clear every carry-on sizer we could find, with the lining in.
We refused three things during the design. No logo on the lid — the debossed mark lives on the base, where only the owner looks. No 'intimate' silhouette in the moulding. And no foam: the lining is a washable fabric over a closed-cell insert, because foam crumbs in a suitcase zip are a small misery we did not want to ship.

Use and care
Everything we know about keeping it.
Setting the lock
The factory setting is 0-0-0. Press the reset pin with a pen tip, turn the dials to your code, then push the pin back until it clicks. Test the new code with the case open before you close it.
Cleaning
Wipe the shell with a damp cloth. The lining lifts out and can be hand-washed in cool water, then air-dried — do not put it in a dryer, since the foam layer will deform.
Storage
Store the case open with the lock disengaged if it will sit for months; the seal is rubber and will take a set if compressed indefinitely. Keep the combination somewhere other than inside the case.
Long-term
The shell will pick up scuffs in any bag, which is the point of matte polycarbonate — scuffs read as use, not damage. The rubber seal takes a set if the case is shut for months, so store it open with the lock disengaged. If the lining tears at the seam after a few washes, spare linings cost less than you would expect; the shell is the part that lasts, and we would rather you replaced the soft part.
Material safety. Platinum-cured silicone, phthalate-free, non-porous. Clean with warm water and mild unscented soap or a silicone-safe cleanser; avoid alcohol and silicone-based lubricants, which dull a matte finish and can leave a film. Full detail in the materials guide.
